Senior Quality Engineer – Digital Platforms & AEM

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead test strategy and automation for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) based digital platforms. You will work across front‑end, back‑end, data and API layers to ensure high‑quality releases for a global investment firm.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own end‑to‑end test strategy for AEM web platforms, covering UI, API, performance, accessibility and regression.
• Build, maintain and scale automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• Develop automated test suites for AEM components, templates, workflows and integrations (DAM, Launch/Tags, external APIs).
• Validate front‑end experiences for responsiveness, cross‑browser compatibility, SEO, WCAG 2.2 AA compliance and Core Web Vitals.
• Test back‑end services including Sling models, OSGi services, servlets, content ingestion pipelines and search/indexing (Solr or AEM Cloud Search).
• Verify API contracts, REST/GraphQL endpoints, caching behaviour and data integrity.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) with clear reporting and quality gates.
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to assess performance, load, resilience and failover scenarios.
• Identify quality risks, contribute to root‑cause analysis and promote testability best practices.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software testing experience, preferably in large‑scale digital platforms.
• Strong background in both front‑end and back‑end quality engineering.
• Experience working in Agile, CI/CD‑driven environments.
