Senior Project Manager – Marine Industry (Hybrid, Mumbai)

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead new‑equipment installations and retrofit programmes for our fleet of vessels. Based in Mumbai with a hybrid work model, you will coordinate globally dispersed teams, including our Danish headquarters, shipyards, OEMs and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time, safely and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, plan and execute major retrofit and new‑equipment projects for existing vessels.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across locations to align technical, operational and commercial objectives.
• Drive external suppliers, shipyards and OEMs toward project milestones while maintaining safety‑first mindset.
• Ensure compliance with international and company standards and uphold a quality‑focused delivery.
• Facilitate clear communication and cooperation among all project participants.
• Take ownership of project outcomes, working autonomously yet fostering teamwork to resolve challenges.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing retrofit or new‑equipment projects in the marine or shipbuilding sector.
• Ability to work with global teams and coordinate with suppliers, shipyards and internal departments.
• Strong safety orientation and commitment to quality standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving attitude and capacity to act independently.
