Senior Government Technology Advisor

About the role

KPMG India is seeking a senior professional to lead technology advisory projects for government and public‑sector clients. The role involves end‑to‑end delivery, team leadership, and direct client interaction across India and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Lead independent execution of government technology advisory engagements.
• Manage engagement teams, oversee on‑site assessments, secondary research and report production.
• Support sales and business development by identifying opportunities and converting them into engagements.
• Ensure high‑quality client service, monitor project progress, manage risks and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay current on advisory service capabilities and industry developments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology consulting for government or public‑sector organisations.
• Strong team‑leadership and project‑management skills.
• Ability to drive business development and manage client relationships.
• Excellent analytical, risk‑management and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel to client locations within India and internationally.
