Senior Executive – Payments & Merchant Acquiring

About the role

Bajaj Finance Ltd. is expanding its QR acquiring business and is looking for a Senior Executive to build and lead this function in a defined territory. You will create the business from the ground up, hire and train a field team, and drive QR, SB and POS/EDC deployments to generate transaction volume and GMV.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and motivate Field Operations Staff (FOS) and ensure their productivity.
• Acquire new merchants and lead QR, SB and POS/EDC deployments.
• Develop distribution channels, map coverage, and manage channel relationships.
• Drive sales targets, retailer payment reconciliation and monthly store activation.
• Collaborate with partners on sales promotions and maintain process rigor and controllership.

Required profile

• Graduation or MBA with 2‑4 years of relevant experience (MBA 1‑4 years or Graduate 3‑6 years acceptable).
• Prior exposure to Payments, FMCG or Telecom prepaid sales is mandatory.
• Experience handling merchant relationships and distribution roles in consumer durables, digital or LSF preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, high energy and a self‑starter attitude.
• Passion for field work and meeting retailers.
