Senior Associate – Real Estate Litigation Lawyer

About the role

Trilegal is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Real Estate Litigation practice in Mumbai. The successful candidate will work on complex disputes, arbitration and advisory matters for a diverse client base that includes Fortune 500 companies, investment funds and high‑net‑worth individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage real‑estate litigation matters, including private‑equity advisory and dispute resolution.
• Conduct arbitration and represent clients in commercial, environmental and infrastructure disputes.
• Provide transactional advice on real‑estate deals and related regulatory compliance.
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts and legal opinions.
• Stay updated on and apply relevant state statutes such as the MRTP Act, Slum Act, DCPR 2034, UDCPR 2020, MTAL Act and MLRC Code.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• 4‑6 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably in real‑estate litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle senior‑associate level responsibilities.
