Research Intern

About the role

The Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) at ESCAP is looking for a motivated Research Intern to support its work programme on technology transfer, climate technologies and sustainable development. The internship is full‑time, unpaid and based in New Delhi for a minimum of three months.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and literature reviews on technology transfer, climate technologies, renewable energy, artificial intelligence and sustainable development.
• Assist in drafting research papers, policy briefs, analytical reports and other knowledge products.
• Support the planning and organisation of Community of Practice webinars, workshops and virtual events, including logistics and agenda preparation.
• Identify and map relevant experts, institutions and networks for potential collaboration with APCTT.
• Monitor developments in science, technology and innovation policy, preparing summaries and briefs for staff.
• Contribute to knowledge‑management tasks such as document handling and resource compilation.
• Research the landscape of technology transfer offices across the Asia‑Pacific region.
