Repair Technician – Cleaning Equipment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Repair Technician specialized in cleaning equipment to join a reputable client in Mauritius. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, servicing and maintaining a range of industrial and commercial cleaning machines to ensure optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in cleaning machines and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on scrubber‑dryers, vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, steam cleaners, polishers and ride‑on cleaning machines.
• Inspect electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components and replace damaged or worn parts.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports and repair documentation.
• Conduct routine equipment testing, performance checks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with supervisors and operations teams.
• Provide technical support and basic operational guidance to machine operators.

Required profile

• 3–6+ years of experience as a Repair Technician or Cleaning Equipment Technician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with industrial and commercial cleaning machinery.
• Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical fields preferred.
• Physically fit for field service work.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
