Radiographer (Internal NHS Scotland Vacancy)

About the role

The Radiology Department at Borders General Hospital is seeking enthusiastic Radiographers, either fully qualified or close to qualification, to join a supportive team delivering a wide range of imaging services across the Scottish Borders.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CT, MRI, Digital Fluoroscopy, Mammography, DEXA and Digital Radiography (DR) equipment.
• Provide 24/7 imaging services for the Emergency Department, inpatient, outpatient and GP referrals.
• Participate in a shift rota, including potential part‑time arrangements.
• Contribute to continuous professional development and skill‑mix initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Radiographer or student close to qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to work within an internal NHS Scotland vacancy.
• Commitment to the NHS values of care, compassion, quality, teamwork, dignity, respect, openness and responsibility.
