Project Transmission Line Manager (Site) – TX

About the role

The Project Transmission Line Manager (Site) – TX will lead the execution of high‑voltage (765/400 kV) transmission line segments, ensuring productivity, safety and quality while meeting schedule and budget targets. This position is pivotal in driving zero‑harm principles, regulatory compliance and effective stakeholder coordination on site.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and coordinate foundation, erection and stringing activities to align with project schedules and quality standards.
• Review survey data and field conditions to verify tower placement, routing, extensions and crossing points (national highways, railways).
• Prepare and maintain L2 schedules, forecasting weekly and monthly workforce and material requirements.
• Produce daily and monthly MIS reports for senior management.
• Implement Field Quality Plans (FQP) and ensure compliance with IS Codes/CBIP manuals, certifying material and work quality.
• Enforce site safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing high‑voltage transmission line projects.
• Strong understanding of safety, regulatory and quality compliance in infrastructure projects.
• Ability to lead on‑site teams and coordinate multi‑disciplinary activities.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
