Program Manager – Academic Operations

About the role

The Program Manager at NIAT leads the execution of on‑campus academic programs, ensuring smooth coordination of classes, labs, assessments and events. This role blends operational oversight with student‑focused support to deliver high‑impact, industry‑relevant learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day campus operations, aligning class schedules, labs and assessments with the academic calendar.
• Collaborate with academic mentors, BOAs and internal teams to maintain consistent operational flow across student batches.
• Monitor student progress, identify at‑risk learners and conduct interventions to improve outcomes.
• Manage student issue trackers, ensuring timely resolution of concerns.
• Gather feedback on classroom quality and mentor effectiveness, recommending improvements.
• Lead campus initiatives such as community events, branding activities and academic showcases.
• Partner with placement and training teams to run workshops, mock interviews and skill‑building sessions.
• Build relationships with local industry professionals and alumni to support internships and placements.
• Prepare accurate reports, dashboards and trackers for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven experience managing operations in fast‑paced environments.
• Data‑driven decision‑making mindset with problem‑solving skills.
• Adaptability, resilience and a student‑centric approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
