Principal Business Analyst I – Investment Technology

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Principal Business Analyst I to support its Investment Technology division. You will work on improving business systems, mapping data across applications, and delivering technology solutions that enhance client services worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse existing business processes to recommend improvements.
• Provide business analysis throughout all project phases, including requirement documentation and solution design.
• Map database fields across multiple applications and investigate third‑party vendors or systems.
• Lead requirement and design reviews with business partners and secure necessary project resources.
• Create effort, cost, and timeline estimates and assist in project prioritisation.
• Coordinate user testing, resolve issues, and maintain an application issues log.
• Design and implement support arrangements, provide post‑implementation support, and maintain system documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing full‑life‑cycle projects on time and within budget.
• Strong business analysis and data‑mapping skills across multiple applications.
• Experience writing database queries and interpreting stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to produce detailed cost‑benefit analyses.
