Offshore Fabrication Welder – GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, Carbon Arc Gouging

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Fabrication Welder to join our team in Mumbai. This full‑time hybrid position involves performing a wide range of welding and gouging operations for offshore drilling and metal fabrication projects.

Key responsibilities

• Execute welding tasks using GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, and carbon arc gouging techniques.
• Prepare, fit, and join metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment, ensure proper setup, and perform routine inspections.
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards throughout the fabrication process.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to meet project timelines and technical requirements.

Required profile

• Proficiency in arc welding, TIG welding, and MIG welding methods.
• Experience with the listed welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, carbon arc gouging).
• Strong understanding of material properties relevant to metal fabrication.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
• Familiarity with welding safety protocols; offshore or metals industry experience is a plus.
• Relevant welding certifications preferred.
