Nurse Assistant – Patient Care

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care in a hospital setting. The role involves assisting nurses and doctors in delivering high‑quality medical services to sick, disabled, recovering or injured patients.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patient health status and report changes.
• Provide bedside care, support, and education to patients and families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing qualification.
• First division in 10th, 12th and nursing examinations.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and show initiative.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
