Medical Receptionist

About the role

South Coast Radiology is looking for a confident, organised Medical Receptionist to work across several southern Gold Coast clinics. This fast‑paced, patient‑focused position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to grow within a leading radiology provider.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and check‑in patients as the first point of contact.
• Answer phones, manage email enquiries and provide accurate information.
• Book, reschedule and confirm appointments using the Karisma RIS system.
• Advise patients on preparation requirements and quote fees.
• Process payments, DVA and third‑party claims.
• Support clinical teams to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.

Required profile

• Warm, professional and approachable demeanor.
• Proven experience in reception, healthcare or customer‑facing roles (radiology experience a bonus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations within a 5 km radius.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn.
