Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and integrity of all mechanical equipment within the plant. This role involves planning, executing, and supervising preventive and predictive maintenance activities while adhering to safety guidelines, company policies, and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct day‑to‑day mechanical maintenance following established policies, processes, and SOPs.
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules in coordination with production, technology, and CES teams.
• Prepare resourcing plans for routine maintenance and shutdown jobs.
• Collect and analyze mechanical performance data, report KPI results, and take corrective actions.
• Manage inventory control for mechanical spares, coordinate procurement, and ensure spare availability.
• Assist in budgeting and cost analysis for mechanical maintenance activities.
• Supervise and execute maintenance tasks with a focus on quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Analyze equipment condition, monitor performance trends, and implement preservation activities.
• Lead shutdown job execution according to schedule.
