Market Data Analyst

About the role

Invesco’s Market Data Services (MDS) team is looking for a Market Data Analyst to support the operational and financial management of market data services. The role will handle invoice processing, pricing validation, inventory maintenance and vendor query resolution, ensuring data integrity and cost accuracy across the firm’s global market data usage.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain process documentation for vendor invoice processing and pricing updates.
• Process and validate vendor invoices against contractual terms, updating the MDS inventory system (e.g., FITS, Optimize Spend).
• Resolve billing queries, manage invoice variances and keep records current.
• Support senior MDS team with vendor management, new service requests and procurement activities.
• Coordinate contract flow through Legal and ensure compliance with global policies.
• Collaborate with Technology and Product teams to onboard new market data services.
• Assist with annual budget planning, financial analysis and ongoing tracking for MDS vendors.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in the investment services industry, preferably in market data services.
• Hands‑on experience with vendor invoicing processes and MDS business principles.
• Familiarity with market data vendors and products such as Bloomberg.

Required skills

• Optimize Spend (or similar MDS inventory management tools).
• ServiceNow for workflow management.
• Bloomberg market data platform.
• FITS inventory system.
