Maintenance Technician - Daman

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures smooth operation of plant machinery, equipment, and utilities. You will respond to breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and keep accurate records to minimise downtime and maximise equipment efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Attend machine breakdowns promptly and carry out electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose faults in motors, control panels, utility systems and production equipment.
• Execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance according to schedules.
• Inspect, lubricate and maintain mechanical components such as bearings, belts, chains, pumps, gearboxes and compressors.
• Perform electrical wiring, cable laying, panel maintenance and troubleshoot control circuits.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and relocation of machinery.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, spare‑parts usage and report recurring issues.
• Follow safety policies, use PPE and keep work areas clean.

Required profile

• Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.
• Strong teamwork and problem‑solving attitude.
• Good record‑keeping and documentation skills.
