M&A Strategy Manager

About the role

The M&A Strategy Manager will support V-Guard’s inorganic growth by managing the full M&A pipeline, from target identification to deal closure and post‑merger integration. The role sits within the Strategy team and collaborates closely with internal and external partners to drive strategic planning and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate potential M&A targets, including start‑ups, aligned with corporate growth objectives.
• Develop business cases, financial models, valuations and scenario analyses to inform investment decisions.
• Conduct commercial and strategic due diligence covering brand strength, financials, synergies, risks, and regulatory considerations.
• Assist in deal structuring, negotiation support and preparation of leadership communications.
• Lead or support post‑merger integration activities to ensure synergy capture and cultural alignment.
• Contribute to broader strategic planning and transformation projects within the Strategy team.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance or consulting.
• Hands‑on experience with financial modeling, valuation and due diligence.
• Exposure to deal structuring and post‑merger integration is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Relevant degree such as MBA, CA, CFA or a Master’s in Finance, Economics or related field.
