Legal Counsel

About the role

TAC Security is seeking a skilled, business‑oriented Legal Counsel to support corporate, commercial, regulatory and cybersecurity legal matters. The role will enable business growth in a fast‑paced technology environment while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate NDAs, vendor contracts, client agreements, SaaS contracts and partnership agreements.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, IT and labour laws, including the Indian IT Act.
• Provide legal guidance on operations, risk mitigation and strategic initiatives.
• Support corporate governance tasks such as board documentation, statutory filings and corporate structuring.
• Identify legal risks, especially in cybersecurity and data privacy, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with external counsel on disputes, litigation and regulatory matters.
• Draft and implement internal legal policies, compliance frameworks and SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred.
• 4–8 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in‑house, preferably within tech or cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law and data protection regulations.
• Experience handling international contracts is a plus.
