Lead Software Engineer – Transfer Solutions

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join the Transfer Solutions team. You will help shape Mastercard Move, a market‑leading money‑transfer proposition that powers domestic and cross‑border payments for consumers and businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Own complex, cross‑service problems and drive end‑to‑end solutions.
• Design, develop, launch and maintain high‑performance payment products.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and operations teams across multiple geographies.
• Scale the Disbursements & Remittances business to meet aggressive growth targets.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews and mentor senior engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams in a fast‑paced, global environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in agile, cross‑functional settings.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder alignment.
