Lab Operator

About the role

Join Bekaert’s BITC Adhesion Lab to support the planning and execution of adhesion tests for rubber and steel cord. You will work with a team to ensure accurate test results, maintain laboratory safety, and keep equipment in optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule adhesion tests in the LIMS system, meeting all commitment dates.
• Operate and maintain all adhesion‑lab machines, ensuring proper sample preparation for static fatigue and material tests.
• Follow high safety standards during testing and execute preventive‑maintenance (PM) schedules.
• Manage Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and equipment calibration according to the defined calendar.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresher to 2 years of experience in mechanical testing or laboratory environments.
• Customer‑focused attitude with good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and collaborate within a team.

• LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) usage.
