General Manager – Construction (Indore)

About the role

The General Manager – Construction will lead end‑to‑end civil construction activities for multiple residential, commercial and resort projects in Indore. The role demands strong leadership in project execution, quality control, cost management and statutory compliance while coordinating internal teams, consultants and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee current and upcoming projects, ensuring progress aligns with schedules and commercial targets.
• Deliver multiple high‑end residential projects on time and within budget, monitoring daily site activities and resolving technical issues.
• Prepare and track project budgets, tendering, BOQs, cash flows and execution schedules; control costs through value engineering and efficient resource utilization.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors and vendors, finalize bills and variation claims, and enforce contractual compliance.
• Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and implement site safety practices and statutory norms (RERA, fire, environmental).
• Coordinate with architects, structural, MEP consultants, PMCs, authorities and internal design, procurement, sales and finance teams.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate project managers, site engineers, supervisors and execution teams.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 15 years of real‑estate construction experience with PMP or MRICS certification.
• Proven ability to handle multiple high‑rise residential, villa and plotted development projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of Indore construction practices and statutory processes.
• Excellent leadership, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
