Financial Controller

About the role

We are a fast‑growing logistics and mobility startup seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to shape our financial strategy, drive cost optimisation and support fundraising efforts. You will partner directly with the founders to build robust financial systems and guide strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Develop financial models for business expansion and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor profitability, identify improvement opportunities and drive cost‑leakage reduction.
• Own equity fundraising, prepare investor decks, financial projections and manage data rooms.
• Coordinate with investors, banks, consultants and support due‑diligence processes.
• Oversee accounting operations, statutory compliance, GST, TDS, income‑tax and audits.
• Ensure accurate preparation of balance sheet, P&L, cash‑flow statements and MIS reports.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial governance and treasury functions.
• Manage banking relationships, working‑capital requirements and optimise cash utilisation.

Required profile

• CA, MBA Finance or CFA (preferred) with 5+ years in finance, FP&A, controllership or CFO‑office roles.
• Proven experience in fundraising, VC interactions or investment transactions.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, GST, taxation and regulatory compliance.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build systems from scratch.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
