Finance Controller – Mumbai (Goregaon)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead our finance team in Mumbai (Goregaon). You will ensure compliance with regulations, drive financial strategy, and provide insightful analysis to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations and manage the finance team, fostering collaboration and mentorship.
• Stay current with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company law to maintain compliance.
• Prepare and file required reports and documents for regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on financial matters.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support growth and long‑term sustainability.
• Monitor financial performance, identify improvement areas, and optimize processes.
• Analyze profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and other reports to assess financial health.
• Present financial information to senior management, board members, and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (Master’s/CA a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of financial management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and company law.
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong presentation abilities.
• Strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
