Faculty – High-Power Microwave & Directed RF Energy Systems

About the role

Mahindra University is seeking experienced academics to join its faculty in the emerging field of High-Power Microwave (HPM) and Directed RF Energy Systems. The position is open at the rank of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor, depending on experience and credentials.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses related to HPM, RF, and microwave engineering.
• Establish and develop advanced experimental research facilities for RF/microwave and directed energy systems.
• Design, test, and integrate RF/microwave subsystems for research and industry projects.
• Collaborate with industry partners, DRDO, and other research organizations on joint initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, RF & Microwave Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong experimental expertise in High‑Power Microwave and directed RF energy systems.
• Proven track record of sponsored or research projects in HPM, pulsed power, or RF/microwave engineering.
• Demonstrated publications, patents, or system development in reputable journals or conferences.
