Executive – Branch Operations (Express Logistics)

About the role

We are seeking an Executive to lead branch operations for our express logistics network. The role combines hands‑on handling of shipments with planning, safety oversight and customer service across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and containers, sort documents and parcels to optimise delivery routes.
• Plan daily routes, reprioritise stops and ensure pickups are completed within customer time‑windows while meeting productivity targets.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete vehicle inspection reports.
• Maintain compliance with state and local warehousing, material‑handling and shipping regulations.
• Prepare and audit delivery records, pick‑up manifests, time‑cards, AWB, customs paperwork and commercial invoices.
• Use defined tools to scan, record and transfer data for performance tracking and compliance.
• Secure vehicles and packages by following safety and security procedures.
• Handle customer queries, resolve issues or escalate to the appropriate department.
• Identify revenue‑generation and automation opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system data.
• Manage personal time effectively, prioritize tasks and support team objectives.
• Achieve all key performance indicators and adhere to operational requirements.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate degree.
• 5–8 years of experience managing a warehouse or logistics operation.
• Proven ability in supervision, budgeting, safety management, standards development, process management and inventory control.
• Strong reporting, analytical, equipment‑maintenance and judgment skills.
• Team‑player attitude and proactive approach.
