Electrician (ITI) – Manufacturing & Production

About the role

The Electrician (ITI) will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and machinery used in CRGO lamination sheet processing. The role ensures continuous production, machine reliability and strict adherence to electrical safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in motors, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, sensors and other industrial automation components.
• Maintain and service slitting lines, cut‑to‑length machines, annealing furnaces and transformer core manufacturing equipment.
• Inspect, test and maintain transformers, switchgear, MCC panels, LT/HT panels, generators and power distribution networks.

Required profile

• ITI Electrician / Wireman qualification; Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, steel processing, CRGO lamination, transformer or related engineering industries.

Required skills

• Preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
• Electrical troubleshooting of motors, control panels, PLCs, VFDs and sensors.
• Industrial automation system maintenance.
• Maintenance of slitting lines, cut‑to‑length machines and annealing furnaces.
• Transformer, switchgear, MCC, LT/HT panel and generator inspection and repair.
• Power distribution system upkeep.
