DevOps Engineer

About the role

Sia is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its Data Science Business Line in Mumbai. You will work on consulting assignments, develop SaaS products, and support data‑focused teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client consulting projects and deliver technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain SaaS offerings for the Heka.ai platform.
• Provide cloud architecture, storage, compute, cost‑monitoring and access‑management support.
• Containerize applications, manage Kubernetes clusters tailored to data workloads.
• Write Python automation scripts, micro‑services, and server‑side tools.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Contribute to technology, architecture and governance decisions for scaling data projects.

Required profile

• Engineering background with at least 4 years of DevOps experience.
• Strong command of Python for backend development.
• Proficiency with Docker and a container orchestration platform (Kubernetes).
• Hands‑on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform (a plus).
• Expertise in CI/CD concepts and tooling.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
