About the role

The Construction Planning & Monitoring Expert will oversee and evaluate construction activities for large infrastructure projects in Arunachal Pradesh, ensuring compliance with approved designs, timelines, quality standards, safety norms, and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate construction progress against approved schedules and milestones.
• Review contractor performance, methodologies, and resource deployment.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality assurance procedures, and safety standards.
• Identify delays, risks, and performance gaps, recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic monitoring reports, progress assessments, and evaluation summaries.
• Coordinate with international consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
• Support project management decision‑making through data‑driven analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 + years of experience in construction monitoring, supervision, or evaluation of large infrastructure projects.
• Experience in dam or hydropower projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools, progress tracking, and performance evaluation systems.
• Excellent reporting, analytical, and coordination abilities.
