About the role
As an AV Technician (Level 3) you will lead the setup, operation and support of all audio‑visual and immersive systems used for client visits, executive briefings, live events and town‑hall meetings. You will be the primary technical point of contact, delivering polished and proactive support to employees, visitors and facilitators.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the configuration, testing and operation of AV equipment for CBC client visits, executive briefings, live events and town‑halls.
- Provide on‑site AV support during training sessions, meetings and conferences.
- Coordinate with specialist vendors and service providers for advanced troubleshooting, hardware break‑fix and warranty issues.
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot LED video walls, interactive touch displays, projectors, sound systems, digital signage, Apple TVs, Miracast and related technologies.
- Assist employees with Microsoft Teams call setup, connectivity and troubleshooting in conference and board rooms.
- Perform regular system checks, preventive maintenance and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of system configurations, cabling and maintenance activities in ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with internal asset managers on end‑of‑life AV systems and hardware disposal.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Required profile
- Confident and poised when interacting with clients and visitors.
- Strong customer‑service orientation with a focus on delivering an outstanding experience.
- Ability to coordinate with external vendors, internal teams and backend voice groups.
- Attention to detail for documentation and compliance.
Required skills
- Experience with LED video walls and interactive touch displays.
- Proficiency in operating projectors, sound systems, digital signage, Apple TV and Miracast.
- Microsoft Teams call setup and troubleshooting.
- AV system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and hardware break‑fix.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for tracking configurations and maintenance.
- Basic cabling and hardware disposal procedures.
