Associate – KYC/AML – FinCrime COE – Advisory (Bangalore)

About the role

PWC is seeking a motivated Associate to join its Financial Crime Compliance Centre of Excellence in Bangalore. The role focuses on KYC/AML activities, supporting clients in meeting regulatory requirements and safeguarding organisations against financial crime.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client due‑diligence (CDD) for various entity types, verifying identity, source of funds and beneficial ownership.
• Perform initial document checks to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Research client information using multiple databases and sources.
• Assess client risk based on business activities, geography and other factors.
• Execute sanction screening and adverse media checks using specialised tools.
• Analyse screening results, identify matches and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain accurate records and support internal audit processes.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience as a KYC/AML analyst.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Ability to analyse complex client data and assess risk.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
