Assistant Manager – Application Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Application Development will support customers across the automotive sector, building long‑term relationships by delivering technical solutions, managing projects from RFQ to SOP, and handling product complaints.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers regularly to gather project information, promote Cellasto NVH products, and monitor competitor activity.
• Analyse customer designs, run simulations, and propose technical solutions.
• Manage end‑to‑end projects, coordinating with sales, quality, SCM, and operations teams.
• Issue prototype and testing orders, prepare validation reports, and ensure compliance with APQP/IATF16949 standards.
• Handle customer complaints, perform failure‑mode analysis, and drive corrective actions using 8D reports.
• Support global GKAM/RKAM teams with India‑specific inputs and participate in technical seminars.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in automotive material applications.
• Strong project‑management skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Excellent analytical abilities to assess designs and failure modes.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and seminars.

Required skills

• Familiarity with APQP and IATF16949 processes.
• Experience in technical simulations and product validation.
• Knowledge of VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) concepts.
