Assistant IT Asset Manager

About the role

The Assistant IT Asset Manager supports the management and monitoring of the organisation's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of systems, networks and applications while providing technical support to end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the organisation’s IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and applications.
• Provide technical support and resolve hardware, software, and network‑related issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for IT implementations and maintenance activities.
• Ensure data security, backup management, and compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Assist in managing IT assets, software licences, and inventory tracking.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding activities, including system access, device allocation, and account management.
• Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or improvements where required.
• Maintain documentation related to IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support implementation of new technologies, tools, and digital initiatives.
• Ensure timely closure of IT support tickets and adherence to service levels.
