Architect – Large‑Scale Residential & Hospitality Projects

About the role

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Architect to lead design delivery on large‑scale residential, hospitality and retail‑dining‑entertainment projects. The role involves overseeing the full design process from concept through to IFC, ensuring coordination across multiple disciplines and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate design efforts with structural, MEP, landscape and specialist consultants (kitchen, F&B, SPA, lighting, branding, signage, façade, pool, water features).
• Develop and manage design documentation across all stages, from concept to Issued for Construction.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to identify optimal technical solutions.
• Apply international building codes (NFPA, IBC) and Saudi codes where applicable.
• Contribute to master specifications using CSI standards and support LEED‑related initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (5‑8 years of relevant experience); Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude and ability to work in multicultural, multi‑location teams.
• Familiarity with Saudi building regulations is desired.
• RIBA or equivalent certification and LEED experience are advantageous.
