Warehouse Operations Outbound Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Outbound Supervisor to lead our outbound logistics team. In this role you will ensure that orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the full outbound logistics process, coordinating order picking, packing, and shipping to meet customer deadlines.
• Monitor real‑time order processing, resolve delays or discrepancies, and work with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers.
• Maintain efficient storage, retrieval, and movement of goods, conducting regular cycle counts and audits.
• Implement FIFO/LIFO principles, reduce shrinkage, and enforce strict process controls.
• Lead, train, and develop warehouse associates and outbound coordinators, tracking KPIs such as order accuracy and on‑time dispatch.
• Enforce OSHA, HSE, and other safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Analyze outbound logistics data to identify process improvements, optimize shipping routes, carrier selection, and freight costs.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service to align outbound operations with business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• 3 to 7 years of experience in warehouse operations, outbound logistics, or distribution management.
• Proven experience managing teams and overseeing warehouse functions.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse best practices, inventory control, and safety compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience using ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
• Understanding of FIFO and LIFO inventory rotation methods.
• Familiarity with process‑improvement methodologies like 5S and Kaizen.
