Store Godown Incharge – Warehouse Operations Manager

About the role

The Store Godown Incharge will lead daily warehouse activities, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials. This role is pivotal for maintaining accurate inventory, supporting the purchase, logistics, and sales teams, and upholding safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the store godown, including stock receipt, storage, and dispatch.
• Maintain proper documentation of all inward and outward materials, coordinating with the ERP system.
• Conduct periodic physical verification of stock and reconcile with system data.
• Supervise loading and unloading activities, ensuring safe handling of goods.
• Monitor storage conditions, cleanliness, and optimal space utilization.
• Coordinate with purchase, logistics, and sales teams for timely stock movement.
• Track ageing stock, report slow‑moving or damaged items, and implement FIFO practices.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and audit requirements.
• Guide and manage store assistants and helpers for efficient day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: Plus Two or Diploma in any discipline; preferred graduate in Commerce, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• 0–5 years of experience in store or warehouse management, preferably in retail or electronics.
• Age between 20 and 45 years.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for inventory documentation and tracking.
