Senior Material Handling Operator (2nd Shift)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Material Handling Operator to join our 2nd‑shift team at our Plainfield, IN facility. In this role you will ensure the smooth flow of goods through receiving, storage, packaging and dispatch while supporting our mission to pioneer breakthroughs in healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Complete approved logistics processing on schedule, including goods receipt, warehouse, transport and dispatch.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify material number, description and quantity against shipping documents.
• Inspect goods for visible damage, document findings and report as required.
• Operate hand‑guided industrial trucks and forklifts safely and correctly.
• Capture and record relevant data in data processing systems.
• Arrange acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods, maintaining accurate system records.
• Conduct regular stock maintenance and inventory counts.
• Assemble deliveries from storage compartments, checking completeness and accuracy against delivery notes.
• Package deliveries according to shipping instructions, including handling of dangerous goods.
• Attach appropriate shipping documents to outgoing goods.
• Perform internal and, when needed, external transports using appropriate transportation means.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift.
• Location: Plainfield, IN.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Hand‑guided industrial truck operation.
• Use of data processing systems for inventory and logistics.
