Senior Digital Experience (DEX) Designer – Automotive HMI

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Digital Experience (DEX) Designer to lead the creation of intuitive, motion‑rich interfaces for Kia vehicles in India. You will shape the digital surface of the car, turning every interaction into a meaningful conversation between driver and vehicle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead DEX design across clusters, head‑unit, head‑up display and connected experiences from concept through production.
• Collaborate directly with the HQ DEX team in Namyang as a co‑author of design solutions.
• Work closely with HMI engineering, software and connectivity teams to ensure seamless implementation.
• Mentor and develop the next generation of digital designers within the Kia India Design Center.
• Translate multilingual, mobile‑first Indian user behaviours into HMI, UX and digital interface designs.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of digital experience design, preferably in automotive HMI.
• Strong mastery of interaction design, motion design and systems thinking.
• Passion for drawing inspiration from digital products, film, gaming and contemporary art.
• Belief that digital experience is a core character of the vehicle, not an add‑on.
