Remote Biotechnologist – Short‑Term Contract

About the role

This is a three‑month, task‑based contract for a remote biotechnologist. You will work closely with large‑language‑model (LLM) researchers to create and solve biology problems that test the limits of current AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design challenging biology problems covering undergraduate to PhD‑level curricula.
• Develop clear, step‑by‑step solutions with rigorous reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals.
• Contribute to new benchmark definitions for AI evaluation.
• Analyze complex biological questions using a structured, logical approach.
• Explain concepts with simple language, visuals, or simulations as needed.
• Provide detailed feedback and annotations for AI evaluation workflows.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field (or currently pursuing a PhD/Post‑doc).
• Strong research, analytical, and creative thinking abilities.
• Excellent written communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently with a reliable internet connection.
