Procurement Manager – Apparel Sourcing

About the role

ConnectionsTeamware is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end sourcing for its apparel (ethnic and western) portfolio across multiple Indian locations. The role focuses on driving cost‑effective procurement strategies while ensuring quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full sourcing cycles, including supplier evaluation, onboarding, and contract negotiation.
• Conduct structured market research and analyse spend data to inform procurement decisions.
• Utilise procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle to manage sourcing workflows.
• Develop and execute supplier strategies, monitor vendor performance, and document compliance activities.
• Manage RFQs, commercial agreements, and localisation initiatives to reduce total landed costs.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and global category managers to integrate sourcing solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement or related field.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management, preferably in apparel.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex spend data and supplier performance metrics.
• Familiarity with procurement compliance standards, quality frameworks and industry regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP Ariba, Coupa or Oracle procurement modules.
• Experience using ERP systems and e‑sourcing platforms.
• Ability to read and assess supplier contracts and financial statements.
