Principal Platform Engineer – Digital Integration

About the role

The Principal Platform Engineer will lead the design, development, and maintenance of our digital integration infrastructure. As a subject‑matter authority, you will guide cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions that meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a long‑term integration strategy and roadmap.
• Research, evaluate, and adopt emerging middleware technologies and industry trends.
• Architect reusable components such as API gateways, message brokers, iPaaS, and application servers.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage integration solutions to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
• Establish governance, security, and documentation standards for middleware platforms.
• Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and communicate technical strategies to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, typically 12+ years.
• Proven expertise in designing and operating middleware in cloud‑native and hybrid environments.
• Strong systems‑thinking ability to build future‑ready, secure, and scalable integration solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and leadership skills across multidisciplinary teams.
