Primary French Teacher (IB PYP)

About the role

Oakridge International School Bengaluru is seeking a passionate Primary French Teacher to deliver inquiry‑based French lessons within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). You will inspire young learners, develop their language skills and foster cultural awareness in a supportive, inclusive classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and teach French lessons aligned with IB PYP guidelines.
• Integrate language learning with the school’s Units of Inquiry.
• Assess, record and track student progress regularly.
• Collaborate with fellow PYP teachers in interdisciplinary planning.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff.

Required profile

• Degree in French with B.Ed. or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Strong communication and classroom‑management abilities.
• IB PYP experience preferred.
