Maintenance Engineer – VMC

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer – VMC is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of VMC and CNC machines as well as associated utility equipment. The role focuses on minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance and swift resolution of breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of VMC/CNC machines.
• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance on machines and utility equipment.
• Handle electrical and mechanical maintenance activities, including DG sets, EB panels, motors, compressors, and pumps.
• Monitor machine alignment, spindle condition, lubrication, and coolant systems.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records, checklists, and spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors for AMC and service support activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintaining VMC/CNC machinery and related utility systems.
• Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical maintenance practices.
• Ability to document maintenance activities accurately and manage spare parts.
• Effective coordination skills for working with external service providers.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory requirements.
