Lead Design – Creative Team

About the role

Ather is looking for a strategic and creative design leader to head its Communication Design team. You will shape the visual identity of the brand, drive high‑impact campaigns and ensure design consistency across all consumer touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and maintain a long‑term brand design strategy and visual roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and continuously update a comprehensive corporate Brand Book to guarantee visual consistency.
• Lead, mentor and guide the communication design team in delivering multi‑channel marketing campaigns and ad‑hoc creative requests.
• Assess team capacity, plan quarterly workloads and allocate design resources across business streams.
• Evaluate, onboard and manage external design partners, agencies and vendors to meet extended bandwidth needs.
• Recruit and hire diverse creative talent to scale the design function.
• Collaborate with functional heads, legal, finance and IT/IS teams to solve complex business challenges through design.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts or a related field.
• 8‑12 years of experience in communication design, branding or a creative agency environment.
• Proven track record of managing design teams and external creative partners.
• Strong competency in brand strategy formulation, creative direction and cross‑functional stakeholder management.
