Guest Services Associate – Hostess (Food & Beverages)

About the role

The Guest Services Associate – Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests in the restaurant, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth dining experience. This position supports the overall service flow and upholds the luxury standards of Taj Hotels.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Manage restaurant reservations and seating arrangements.
• Coordinate seamlessly between guests and food‑and‑beverage service staff.
• Handle guest queries efficiently while maintaining excellent relations.
• Monitor dining area presentation and guest comfort.
• Support daily restaurant operations and service flow.
• Maintain grooming standards and hospitality etiquette as per luxury hotel standards.

Required profile

• Female candidates only.
• Minimum height of 5’5”.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Hostess or Guest Service Associate in hotels or fine‑dining restaurants.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional grooming and pleasant personality.
• Ability to work confidently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Currently based in Mumbai preferred.
• Experience in luxury hotels, premium restaurants, or recognized hospitality brands is a plus.
