Director of Strategy Planning

About the role

Tata Electronics is seeking a seasoned Director of Strategy Planning to drive enterprise‑wide strategic initiatives across its semiconductor value chain. This senior leader will collaborate with executives in Operations, Packaging/Test, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Technology Development, and Business Units to shape priorities, manage high‑impact programs, and ensure seamless execution of customer and technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Strategy Planning Council and manage annual and quarterly planning cycles.
• Align silicon technology roadmaps, advanced packaging strategies, and system‑level manufacturing plans.
• Oversee a portfolio of high‑impact strategic programs.
• Provide executive‑level insights, scenario models, and recommendations to accelerate decision‑making.
• Build strong cross‑ecosystem alignment with internal factories and external partners.
• Lead integrated capacity, financial, and operational planning across the semiconductor value chain.

Required profile

• 12–18+ years of leadership experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Deep understanding of wafer fabrication, assembly/test flows, and system manufacturing.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise‑scale strategic programs.
• Strong analytical background with experience in capacity modeling, investment planning, and operational analytics.
• Excellent executive communication and cross‑functional influence skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in EE, Materials Science, Physics or Operations and an MBA.
