Detail Engineer – Tower Drafting (AUTOCAD/BOCAD)

About the role

We are looking for a Detail Engineer specialized in tower drafting for transmission line projects. The role involves creating accurate General Arrangement (GA) and shop drawings, preparing bills of materials, and supporting prototype assembly and mass‑production releases.

Key responsibilities

• Receive specifications and single‑line diagrams from design engineers.
• Assess feasibility of detailing and prepare GA drawings using AUTOCAD or BOCAD.
• Develop shop drawings, BOMs and finalize all documentation.
• Release GA and shop floor drawings for prototype assembly and resolve any deviation issues.
• Coordinate with internal detailing heads, design engineers, proto managers and external factory teams.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineering (or ITI equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years experience in tower detailing.
• At least 1 year hands‑on AUTOCAD experience; 3 years preferred with BOCAD Tower software.
• Ability to generate complete layouts and suggest design alternatives.
• Good knowledge of tower types, parts, insulators, accessories and related trigonometry.
