Construction Contracts Manager

About the role

The Construction Contracts Manager will lead contract and procurement activities for high‑rise building projects, ensuring full compliance with FIDIC conditions and project‑specific obligations. This senior position requires a strategic mindset to manage risk, control costs, and support seamless project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and administer EPC contracts, subcontract agreements and vendor contracts while ensuring FIDIC compliance.
• Manage contract risk assessments, claims, variations, extensions of time and dispute resolution.
• Monitor contractor performance and enforce adherence to contractual terms.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies, oversee tendering, bid evaluation, vendor selection and purchase order issuance.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment and subcontract packages, maintaining an approved vendor database.
• Prepare cost comparisons, commercial evaluations and procurement reports; monitor budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Handle contractual claims and notices in line with FIDIC provisions and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams to support project planning and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 15–20 years of progressive experience in construction contract management.
• Strong hands‑on experience with EPC contracts for high‑rise building projects.
• Proven ability to manage contract risk, procurement processes and cost control.
