About the role
The Surveillance Officer is responsible for continuously monitoring live and recorded video feeds, detecting suspicious activities, and ensuring that all incidents are documented and reported in accordance with confidentiality and data‑protection policies.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment in real time.
- Identify, observe, and report suspicious or illegal activities.
- Maintain and organise evidence folders and forward reports to the appropriate department.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and incident hand‑over reports, including CCTV checklists and security towing sheets.
- Coordinate guard assignments during suspect situations and track guard activities.
- Communicate with corporate teams, prioritising tasks based on incident severity.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data‑protection standards.
- Good written communication skills for accurate reporting.
