Software Engineer – Java, Spring Boot and Microservices

About the role

Apple’s IS&T team is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications that support critical Apple services. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions using modern Java technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain highly reliable, scalable enterprise applications built with Java, Spring Boot, and micro‑service architecture.
• Work with business leaders and project managers to translate requirements into technical designs and estimate effort.
• Mentor and influence peers across multiple teams, ensuring best practices and code quality.
• Perform technical design reviews and code reviews to uphold architectural standards.
• Deliver solutions quickly while maintaining high performance and low latency.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience designing and developing scalable enterprise solutions.
• Proven ability to work independently, handle pressure, and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with multi‑functional teams.
